This site is operated by We Love Local Guides Ltd ("we"), a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 15931264, registered office 12 Meath Gardens, Horley, Surrey, RH6 8FW), trading as VisitSoukElHad.com. We are the data controller for personal data collected here and are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration ZC132392.

What we collect & why

• Newsletter: your email and chosen interests, to send you updates you opted into (lawful basis: consent).
• Trader forms: the details you submit, to build your listing and contact you (lawful basis: consent / steps to enter an arrangement).

Listing information about the souk and its stalls comes from traders' own submissions and from our own research and publicly available sources, on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining an accurate guide. Traders can ask us to correct or remove their listing information by contacting privacy@visitsoukelhad.com.

Photography & images of people

We publish photographs and video of the souk in which members of the public may be visible. Where this includes identifiable individuals, we rely on our legitimate interest in documenting and presenting the market, and we blur the faces of identifiable passers-by where we reasonably can. If you are shown and object, or want an image removed or your face blurred, contact privacy@visitsoukelhad.com and we will act promptly. See also the takedown section of our Terms.

How long we keep it

Only as long as needed for the purpose above, or until you ask us to delete it.

Who we share it with

Our email provider (Resend) processes emails on our behalf. We do not sell your data. Some data may be processed in connection with our operations in Morocco and the UK; we apply appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete or object to the use of your data, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact privacy@visitsoukelhad.com. You may also complain to the ICO.
